Small world isn't it?

Ann Ellington Wagner e-mails that she and her husband Tim are going to Alaska. They needed some ‘off the beaten path’ travel information. Ann searched the web, made phone calls, but could not get what she sought. So, being resourceful, she sent an inquiry to Governor Sarah Palin 's office in Juneau hoping for a referral to another web site.

“Two hours later,” she writes, “I received an e-mail addressed ‘To a Fellow Tennessean.’ Well, that got my attention. Seems a gal by the name of Lynn Castle from Roan Mountain, Tennessee is an executive assistant to Alaskan Governor Palin. We are going to have coffee with Lynn when we dock in Juneau. Small world isn't it?”

(Ed. note: Ann Ellington Wagner is the daughter of the late Tennessee Gov. Buford Ellington. First Lady Andrea Conte has honored and consulted Ann, along with others who once dwelled in the governor's residence, several times during the recent residence renovation.)
